Our speakers and teachers are the cream of the crop. They have lived through pain and suffering and are survivors--more than survivors--they are victors! They know what they are talking about. You will be hearing from experience, not something you could read about in a book! One note of interest is that speakers and topics are subject to change with the various conferences. Some speakers might already have another commitment. Or perhaps the topic they specialize in is not a pressing issue in that area. We are always open to new speakers and new topics. Our speakers are available to minister at your event, so feel free to contact them with an invitation.
Email Lynda AllisonLynda Doty is the author of the best-selling book, HELP ME HEAL, upon which these conferences are based. She cares deeply for people who hurt and has a special touch because she has been there. She understands. Lynda is a popular speaker in churches and conferences, and counsels according to the Word of God. She is on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Soteric Counseling. She earned Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in the field of counseling. An ordained minister with the UPCI, she is a pastor's wife and the author of sixteen books.
Email Pam Pam Peffer has a burden for women, and for the hurting. When Pam speaks, you will know that she has heard from the Lord. Pam's husband, who was her pastor before retiring, had this to say about his wife: "Pam is a licensed minister with the UPCI. She has been involved in ministry with the Illinois District as Sectional Ladies President for the past 13 years. She teaches Home Bible Studies and has won several people to the Lord. Ultimately My wife is one of the finest Christian people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. No one knows a person's true character like their spouse. I am her retired pastor and have been married to her for 41 wonderful years."
Pam is a Certified Counselor with the Institute of Soteric Counseling and counsels many people who seek her out, or are referred to her. In the area of Stress, Pam has proven herself to be victorious, time and time again. Pam and her church was hostess of the third HELP ME HEAL Conference.
Email Thelma Sister Prather is a friend of ladies everywhere. She has been a Pastor's wife for 23 years, and a full time Evanglisit's wife for 9 years in 25 states. She is active in the Muskegon Ladies Rescue Mission and has taught the Acts program there. She also teaches a weekly Bible study plus two classes a week on various subjects to the ladies staying long term at the Mission. She has a burden and love for Ladies of any age. She also hosted the very First HMH Conference. Sister Prather is a student of counseling with the Institute of Soteric Counseling. The Lord gave her a promise in the summer of 1993, and this promise was fulfilled when Sister Doty invited her to be a part of the HMH Conference....to God Be the Glory!
Email LorrieLorrie has survived a life of rape and abuse and teaches Childhood Sexual Abuse and Abortion classes. She founded Wings of Love Ministry in Florida, a support group for women suffering from post abortion syndrome, Served as President of Right to Life from 1993-1994. Currently assisting with a Home Mission work in NY.
Email Karla GordonKarla has brought much to the HELP ME HEAL Conferences, by way of her music and her speaking ministry. She is the Executive Producer of the Gordon Sisters and their music, and has written many of the songs on the Gordon Sisters' CDs. At church she's been involved in the music ministry and has taught Bible studies for many years. She's also the facilitator of a long-standing Home Friendship Group. Her heartbeat is to help as many people as possible find their own "personal Pentecost." She is the mother of Bethany and Ryan, and Nana to Novalei Joy, Landrei Hope, and Andrei Love.

Email GwenGwen's heartbeat is sexual sin--sexual abuse, perversion, and pornography. She has suffered much in her own life and knows these topics well. Gwen says, "Its so much more than 'dirty' pictures. Its devastating, it comes in almost innocently, its 'normal' for a boy/young man to be curious--but then it gets worse and like any other stronghold it takes more and more to satisfy it and before they even know it, they are addicted to a very easily hidden secret. I know that God created sex to be a beautiful binding experience between a man and woman in the bonds of marriage and evil has made it what it is today. It breaks me, it truly breaks me Sister. But, again I know I haven't learned and lived thru all of this to just sit on it in a church pew."
